Three Roses Journals

Hello, and welcome to Three Roses Journals.

I first became interested in junk journals a little over a year ago, and have been hooked ever since. I made so many journals during that time, that I decided it was time to do something with them, so I have opened an online shop. 

I named the shop, (and this blog) to honour my mother and her two sisters whose maiden name was Rose. I have always admired them for their strength, their resilience and their ability to persevere no matter what life put in their way, so it seemed like a natural choice.  

This blog will be a place for me to showcase the junk journals I create to sell. I hope you will join me each week as I post a new journal and perhaps it will inspire you to create your own junk journal.

This week's journal is Summer Sunflowers. The journal was made using digital papers created by Veriepear and Unique Art Factory.  

The cover of this journal was made using a tutorial by Angela Kerr of Angela Kerr Designs.

I have trimmed some of the pages with vintage lace and added pre-made and hand made ephemera.

As well as a folio that I made using a kit created by Citrus Journal Studio.
